OUR COMMITTEE
President – Geoff Nicol
Geoff is a grain farmer. His property Brudle Park is approximately 45 minutes drive from Goondiwindi and is close to Moree. Geoff competes regularly and recently won the Limited Non Pro Futurity at the 2008 NCHA Futurity show.
Vice President – Craig Sim
Craig is a Spray Contractor from Goondiwindi. Craig’s highlights in the sport include finishing reserve champion in the National standings in the 2005 $3500 Non Pro; as well as scoring a 150 on Striking Distance at the Gold Cup Open show at Tamworth in 2005.
Secretary – Maxine Ambrose
Maxine and husband Grant live on the outskirts of Goondiwindi. Maxine is a nurse and works at the Goondiwindi Hospital. She started competing in snafflebit cutting in 2007 and has now purchased a horse to compete in the Rookies and $3500 classes.
Treasurer – Stacey Smith
Stacey and husband Steve live on a property near Goondiwindi. Stacey works as a book-keeper. Steve has been competing in cutting since 2006 and recently finished runner up in the 2008 Non Pro Derby on their mare Redneck Woman
Promotions Officer – Nicky Doolan
Nicky started her role as the promotions officer this year. Nicky and her husband Dave and 3 children all compete in cutting. They take pride in training and preparing their own horses for competition. Nicky and her family live on the border 50km from Goondiwindi and Nicky also plays an important role in a Goondiwindi retail store.
